In case you missed it, this past weekend was the Pennsylvania Horse Expo with all sorts of great activities, speakers and clinicians, and tons of fun shopping for the horse lover in all of us. Great equestrian professionals from around the country – and world – come together to share their expertise with equine enthusiasts. And we are just thrilled that our very own Dr. Spinks was invited back to speak about tick borne diseases in horses, especially with spring on the way.

Any horse owner in New England has heard of the perils of tick borne diseases, with Lyme being at the top of our list of diseases we just love to hate. But most people don’t realize that there are several other tick borne diseases in our area, and that Lyme (and other diseases) aren’t just limited to New England but are spreading at an alarming rate.

If you miss Dr. Spink’s great presentation, there’s no need to worry. We’ve saved a copy for you to download and read right here on our blog! Just click on the link below to download the powerpoint (in PDF format so anyone can open it) and let us know what you think.
